When is the 2013 African American Festival?

The festival dates/times are as follows:
Saturday – July 6th, 2013 (noon – 10pm)
Sunday – July 7th, 2013 (noon – 8pm)

Where does the festival take place?

The festival will take place at M&T Bank Stadium on lots B and C between Oriole Park at Camden Yards and M&T Bank stadium, 1101 Russell Street, Baltimore, MD 21230

How much does it cost to attend the festival this year?

The festival is FREE for all festival goers this year!!

Is it true that the festival is featuring the Stone Soul Picnic this year?

Yes, this year’s festival will feature the Stone Soul Picnic Main Stage, vendors and sponsors to create one signature event for the summer! Sponsors, vendor and visitors should expect and even better experience as a result of the combined efforts of both event teams.

What can I expect at the festival?

The 2013 African American Festival offers something for everyone with an extensive selection of entertainment, cultural exhibits, contests, health screenings, education and financial empowerment activities. Visit more than 150 vending booths and attractions as well as enjoy 2 stages of entertainment during the 2-day celebration.

Are there activities for children at the festival?

Yes, there are several activities for children including youth performances, arts & crafts, inflatable obstacle courses and a rock climbing wall.

How can I participate in the festival?

There are several ways you can participate in the 2013 African American Festival. You can Sponsor, be a vendor, take part in one of the festival’s competitions or volunteer. Visit the corresponding sections of the website for detailed information.

How can I become a vendor at the festival?

To get info on becoming a vendor, please go to the Vendors section of the website to download an application form and read all vendor related info.
